Cirque Du Soliel Ovo in London
June 14, 2017 was the first time I had witnessed the live performance of Cirque Du Soliel, while I have been waiting to see the performance for a long time, I decided it was finally time to try it out. The opening night for Cirque Du Soliel Ovo was last night, June 14th at 7:30pm, and I happened to arrive about thirty minutes early.
Walking into the performance, Cirque Du Soliel sets the stage, truly making it an immersive experience for the guests, the world of Ovo. During the wait time, there were performers entertaining the guests with wild costumes and play performances, all of which made the time move a little quicker for those eager to get to their seat.
While I can't compare two shows of Crique Du Soliel side by side, I can say that the experience was well worth my time. Having never been to one of their shows, you learn quickly how much talent it truly takes to be performing the acts they do on a daily.
One of the best parts of the show is that truly anyone can watch it regardless of language barriers, Cirque Du Soliel enables a story not spoken through language by rather movement and it's one part that I loved. They truly made it a show and not just about people swinging from high up and performing wild acts, but one that has a little comedic relief. Not to mention the fact that they brought up live guests which made it that much more entertaining.
If you're thinking of attending Cirque Du Soliel's Ovo performance here in London, I would highly recommend it and if you have kids, bring them along! It's family friendly and a fun experience.
